what do you mean by self-respect?

I don't know what's the real meaning of self-respect????
I think there is also difference between the self respect of men and women.  Mostly time self respect of man is bigger than women , don't know why ? 
A man can stand for his ego ...so called self respect but a woman have no right to stand for her self respect ....... society called her self respect as ego ......waho what a society.🙄
Any small issue is bigger for men and any big issues are small for women ,why??
In our cultural history like Ramayana......."The values that sita enshrined and adhered to at every point in the course of a demanding life are the values of womanly virtue held sacred by countless generations of Indians." But our society not considered that fact and consider the fact that"She has been portrayed as an ideal daughter, an ideal wife and an ideal mother".That means you have no right to stand for yourself and for your self respect just because you have to be ideal and ideal people have no self respect.😐
If women want respect than she is very demanding and her parents didn't gave her any moral values .... sanskar.
In the men dominant world ..... women haven't right for self respect??

Sometimes pain is unbearable just because you can't explain what hurts you more . Everything inside you is killing you slightly . You are doing everyday chores but somewhere you are lost always . Things appears good but they are not good just because you  had made that perception " everything is going on isn't good" .   In pain you can't justify what is good or bad for you . Pain is is just a phase of time.     After a certain period of time you will be okay but the most difficult and worst period is that transition period . After that may be you changed ....that will be okay . Never let any pain to ruin your mental peace . Pain is a emotion that will be faded after some time ...... sometimes it will take more time but trust me ..... after that you will be okay.
